Reversing a Trade

A trade may only be reversed when its trade type is mapped to a specific cancel trade type in the Trade Type validation listClosedA validation list is a list of valid values for a particular field (property). The values included in many lists can be maintained in SalesConnect.. See Maintaining Validation Lists for general instructions.

  1. Display the Trade Detail page for the trade you want. You can display details for trades by selecting links for them on Trades tabs throughout SalesConnect or on trades search results lists. See Searching for Trades if you want steps for that task.
  2. Select Reverse on the Trade Detail page. A confirmation popup is shown.
  3. If you want to confirm the reversal, select Yes on the confirmation popup; the Trade Detail page is updated to show the reversal.
